Friendly staff...good breakfast, clean room, good air conditioning...

When I booked the room, I inadvertedly made a mistake on arrival date. Within 10 minutes, I modified my arrival date to the next day and received a confirmation which also went to the Hotel. To my surprise, I was still charged for the additional night upon check out. They told me that it was prepaid and there was nothing they could do. I think this is not just and would like to request a refund for the night I did not stay. In addition, I still stayed for the 3 nights I originally requested.... In any event, I was charged 100 Euros for something I did not receive. Please advise....Thank you....

The only really good thing that can be said about this hotel is the location and the nice personnel.

On the first day the aircon in the room did not function, and the hotel did not offer any compensation in that regard. I got a new room for the second night..

It was within close walking distance of the city - 10mins. Shopping, restaurants and to walk to the port where the boats take you to the Cinque Terre or PortoBooked.net.

Dusty, smell of bathroom was putrid and mosqitoes everywhere (but from what I heard from other travellers at dinner is that this hotel wasn't the only one!). Water didn't drain fast enough! Breakfast was typical italian - not much to offer, brioche, cheese and ham, juice and coffee. Internet way overpriced!! For what we paid most other hotels now have this included in the rate or at a much lower price. We asked for advice on how long it takes by bus to get to PortoBooked.net so we could catch the boat to Portofino for the day. The lady mentioned 15-20mins max except I don't think she's been on a bus in a while, it was 45mins and we obviously missed the boat!! Note: Bus takes 45mins, not 20mins to PortoBooked.net - hope this helps you out!

The hotel room was large enough to comfortably fit a family of 4. It is located relatively close (30 minute walk - 15 bus ride) to the train station that goes to the Cinque Terre.

Our wing of the hotel lost power 3 times the night we stayed.

Great breakfast which was included in our rate. (May not always be included. Very friendly and helpful staff. 10 euro taxi ride or 20 min walk from train station. The walk is nice.

Might have chosen a location closer to the train but that depends on how much you use the train.

Was convenient to the ferry service-just two blocks from the waters edge. Room was quiet, though small, with everything you needed provided. Breakfast was standard European style -really enjoyed the coffee from the self serve machine. Staff were friendly and helpful especially as we needed a doctor while we were there.

Would have appreciated the breakfast area to be non smoking. Its a bit of a walk to the railway station but because of the layout of the town, you can't be close to the railway station and the ferry service. It's one or the other.

It is a perfect stay for visiting cinque terre it's close both to the boat and tram station, and additionally to the tourist information. The rooms were clean and breakfast good, no vegetable though.

Nice clean rooms and a good breakfeast is served. The location is good too, just beside the harbour and shopping streets.

Had to go to floors up with heavy luggage, meaning they have no elevator. The price for parking in their garage is 18 euro.

Very Courteous hotel staff that communicated well in English. Very clean and functional rooms with comfortable bed. Self serve laundry just 1 minute walk away. Even though walk is long to the train station (35 minutes at very brisk pace) - the pedestrian area is excellent and enjoyable. Many restaurants and areas for shopping within 10 minute walk of hotel. Quiet area and reasonably easy to find when driving into La Spezia on the main road. Free parking is nearby hotel if you cannot get into Hotel garage (very convenient also). Breakfast buffet was complete with fresh fruit and standard fair of fresh cold cuts and bread choices (croissants etc). They served in two cute separate breakfast rooms.

Long walk (35 minutes very brisk) to La Spezia Train Station for Cinque Terre (Buses are infrequent and difficult to use to get to station). If long walk is not on the agenda then I would suggest cab to station. Breakfast could have included both one hot drink and one cold drink. There was a charge for the hot drink if you had cold juice and vice versa.

To much traffic, noisy.

we had 2 night reservation but we cancelled 2nd night because of weather conditions, they accepted it without any complication.it was a nice jest. thank you.

Very friendly staff and the location was good for getting the boat to Cinque Terra.

The desk girls were very nice and provided us a lot of info about good restaurants nerby and the public sistem of transport. I also liked the terrace were we had breakfast. Breakfast was good enough, not a very large variety , but tasty. Very comfortable beds ! It is close to the sea promenade and the ferry.

The room was not sound proof, I could hear the people passing through the hotel hall and the cars on the street. I didn't like the quality of the shampoo and of the soap provided by the hotel. And I also didn't like that it is far from the railway station.

Convenient location with garage.

Breakfast was disappointing, no fruit except apples.

Room was clean and air conditioned. Hotel is close enough to train station and harbor for travel to Cinque Terre and Portavino.

We had to pay 4 euro for 1 hour of Internet use. With the quality of this hotel, it seemed silly that they did not have free Internet. The map they give you on arrival is not correct if you are looking for the information centre. Hair dryer needs updating.
